Here are some important things to know about furniture fabrics.

Furniture fabrics must be carefully inspected so that the correct cleaning method is used.  Some fabrics (silks, linens, etc.) should always be dry cleaned.  Other fabrics (wool, cotton, rayon, poly-blend, ultrasuede) are typically steam-cleanable.  When you get a quote, make certain that the company is taking this under consideration!  Here’s a final note: the use of incorrect cleaning agents can lead to permanent staining and fabric damage.
